Goose "Out of Bounds"

Out of Bounds (OOB) is an interesting photo effect where the object or scene in the image seems to jump right out of the photo or its borders. It is a photo manipulation technique to add an illusion of 3-dimensionality to a flat photo.  This is my first 'out of bounds' photo created using Adobe Photoshop CS6.  I started with a picture of a Canadian Goose that I took in Millbrook last weekend at Innisfree Garden.  I then applied the OOB technique using masks and layers in Photoshop to make the goose look like it is "stepping out of the picture".
