SMITHFIELD PHOTO SHOW
After about 8 trips to Smithfield, we have finally made our selections for the show.  The  exhibition of photos from the Smithfield Valley will be open on Sept 15 in conjunction with a concert presented by musicians from NYC.  The shots I got on the 8th visit last night ended up being the best ones.  We went at the perfect time in the evening when the sun was setting.  Here are my entries for the show...

BOSTON, MA
My family and I went whale watching in Boston.  We went on the early tour at 9:30am.  The boat traveled out into the ocean for about an hour and a half before we saw the first whale.  After that, we saw whale, after whale, after whale.  It was feeding time...what a great tour - I would recommend "Boston's Best Cruises" to anyone.   We purchased the package deal so we also got to visit the Aquarium.  Here's some pictures from our trip.

 

SMITHFIELD, NY
The members of the photo club I am a member of has been asked to take some pictures of Smithfield, NY.  Rick and I went out to take some pictures overlooking the valley and came across 2 farms -- one with 2 beautiful horses that were literally "horsing around" which was fun to watch and a second farm called Black Sheep farm which had the cutest pigs.  Here are a few shots of the day...
